Study with an international award-winning Institute
Since 2006, we have successfully run our unique UK-accredited International Diploma and Advanced Diploma courses in Clinical Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy & Counselling. In addition to the extremely positive endorsements from our students and graduates, of which there are a few examples on the Testimonials. Transformations Institute has been honoured twice with the award of “School of the Year” chosen from the whole global network of APHP-accredited training providers on the basis of the quantity and quality of our graduates.
As of 2021 we will be launching our new International Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy & Counselling. This new two-year programme will have multiple accreditations including the National Council of Psychotherapists (NCP) and its sister organization, the International Council of Psychotherapists (ICP). NCP/ICP are currently in the process of obtaining accredited register status with the Health and Social Care division of the Professional Standards Authority, putting NCP/ICP on the same level as the ‘gold standard’ professional associations, such as the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).
This new course will incorporate all the best of what we’ve been doing successfully in our previous courses but with a more integrative approach over two intensive years, leading to a fully-fledged psychotherapy and counselling qualification that is UK-accredited. Our students will learn a range of modalities including Client-Centred Counselling, Clinical Hypnotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), the therapeutic applications of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Transactional Analysis (TA), Personality Types, an introduction to Jung’s model of the psyche and transpersonal work, the foundations of breathwork and meridian, energy and quantum healing, as modalities that can be incorporated into applied positive psychology. There is a strong emphasis on individual study and research alongside practical applications, and students are encouraged to be self-reflecting practitioners right from the outset. The Course Leader and Course Tutor have decades of experience as practitioners, trainers, mentors and supervisors and have been honoured with Fellowships and Diplomate status by distinguished professional associations. The Diploma is designed to be suitable for beginners as well as for those with relevant professional backgrounds.
