International Society of NLP Licensed Coach

1. NLP Coaching Foundations

Society of NLP certification signed personally by Dr Richard Bandler, original creator & co-founder of NLP. (This course can be taken as a stand-alone or as a module of the full Society of NLP Licensed Coach qualification programme.)

This 4-day intensive course provides an introduction to the Coaching process and the most successful models of Coaching since Tim Gallwey’s ground-breaking ‘Inner Game’ series of books was launched in the 1970s and subsequently developed by Sir John Whitmore into his highly influential ‘G.R.O.W.’ model. We also include: Patrick Lencioni’s work with coaching teams; elements of the Co-active Coaching; the ‘Wheel of Life’; 360⁰ feedback; the Coaching Contract; etc. The course will provide a theoretical framework for the process but the focus will be very much on applied skills and how to introduce Coaching into a variety of different contexts: Business & Organisational Coaching; Executive & Leadership Coaching; Life, Personal & Relationship Coaching; Academic, Educational & Career Coaching; Health, Lifestyle and Well-Being Coaching; etc. Participants will be provided with follow-up references and resources, which will required by those who wish to prepare for the next level to become fully Licensed Coaches.

A Certificate of Attendance is provided on completion of this first stage.

2. Coaching Completion & Accreditation

This course is open to all those who are interested in becoming Coaches and there is no requirement to have trained in NLP in order to register, although some prior knowledge of NLP will be useful. Those who wish to become fully accredited Coaches will need to take both the NLP Practitioner and Master Practitioner courses in order to qualify for the final Coaching Practice course.

Certification from Dr Richard Bandler's International Society of NLP

This intensive course revises and reinforces the key NLP concepts and techniques, in the context of applying these as a Licensed Coach. Participants will attend the first two days and then on one of the last two days will attend to conduct an observed ‘live’ Coaching session with a practice Coachee client, followed by feedback and a viva assessment by the Course Leader.

A substantial element of the course will be practicing and demonstrating applied skills in the Coaching session with ‘real life’ Coachees from relevant sectors (reflecting the Coach’s preferred field of practice).

Coaches in training will receive ongoing feedback from fellow participants, Coachees and Observers, including the Course Leader.

Eligibility for this course requires that participants have:

Completed the Level 1 Coaching Foundations course with a Society of NLP Licensed Trainer

Obtained their Society of NLP Licensed Practitioner certification, OR

have successfully completed an NLP Licensed Practitioner programme with another NLP training organization, subject to being assessed as having an adequate level of knowledge and skill in the SNLP Licensed Practitioner core skills and competences to meet the requirements for entry to the SNLP Licensed Master Practitioner training (there may be a charge for this assessment).

Obtained their Society of NLP Licensed Master Practitioner certification, regardless of which SNLP Licensed Trainer they trained with.

There are written and practical assessments for this course, including a post-course written examination. On successful completion of all elements, participants will be awarded the SNLP Licensed Coach Certificate with a stamp and URN, issued by the SNLP and personally signed by Dr Richard Bandler.
